The Whirlpool SBS200 replacement fridge water filter is suitable for all Whirlpool fridges that have cartridges fitting in the base grille. In addition, it will also fit a range of side-by-side refrigerator models from brands including Admiral, Amana, KitchenAid, Bauknecht and Maytag.
The SBS200 filter cartridge greatly improves the taste of mains tap water by removing chlorine, heavy metals, cysts and dissolved organics.
It is recommended to replace Whirlpool water filters every six months or when the 'replace cartridge' light comes on (if fitted). If the fridge water dispenser remains unused for any longer than two weeks (e.g. moving house), it is recommended to replace the filter.
