The BRITA Purity C Quell ST range is designed for professional applications where water quality matters — including coffee, espresso, vending machines, combi steamers and ovens. It helps reduce carbonate hardness, limescale deposits and unwanted substances that can affect taste, aroma and equipment performance.

This C50 bundle is best suited to smaller coffee setups, offices, light commercial use and lower-volume machines. For busier cafés or higher daily water usage, the C150, C300 or larger systems will usually be more suitable.

The included 30% fixed bypass head allows part of the water to bypass the hardness-reduction stage, helping retain some mineral content while still reducing scale-forming hardness. This balance is particularly useful for coffee, where water affects taste, aroma and extraction consistency.

Capacity Guidance

At a typical hardness level of 10°dH / approx. 180 ppm carbonate hardness, the BRITA Purity C Quell ST C50 provides approximately 831 litres of filtered water when used with the included 30% fixed bypass head. Actual filter life varies with local water hardness, machine type and water usage.

Installation Note

This kit includes common fittings used with many commercial coffee and catering installations, but connection requirements vary depending on your machine and existing pipework. Please check your appliance inlet size before installation, or contact us if you are unsure which fittings you need.

Follow the manufacturer’s installation guidance, confirm all connections are secure and flush the product as instructed before regular use.

Returns & refunds

Changed your mind? You have 30 days to return any unused filter in its original sealed packaging for a refund, or 90 days for exchanges. Start at our returns portal and either generate a prepaid Royal Mail label (£3.49, deducted from your refund) or use your own courier — exchanges are always free to return. We approve refunds within 24 hours of your return reaching us; your bank may then take 3–5 working days to show the funds.
