Learn moreThe BRITA PURITY C Quell ST C50 is the smallest cartridge in the PURITY C Quell ST range. It is intended for professional installations with limited space or relatively low water use, including office coffee equipment, light-use espresso machines, hot-drinks vending machines and smaller catering ovens.
At 10°dH carbonate hardness, the C50 is rated for 831 litres with a 30% fixed-bypass head. When used with a 0-70% variable head, the corresponding capacity is 960 litres at 40% bypass for coffee, espresso or vending, or 660 litres at 10% bypass for combi and conventional ovens. Actual capacity varies with measured carbonate hardness, bypass setting, machine and water use.
With the filter head fitted, the C50 system measures 119 x 108 x 268 mm and has a nominal flow of 60 L/h. It is the shortest system in the PURITY C Quell ST range.
The cartridge uses four filtration stages: pre-filtration, carbonate-hardness reduction, activated carbon and final fine filtration. This reduces limescale formation, retains metal ions such as lead or copper, and reduces chlorine residues and other substances that can affect taste or aroma. All water, including bypass water, passes through the activated-carbon stage.
What is included: one BRITA PURITY C Quell ST C50 replacement cartridge, MPN 1002730. A compatible PURITY C filter head is required and is not included. Replace the cartridge when its calculated capacity is reached or no later than 12 months after commissioning.
* Rated capacity at 30% bypass, 180 ppm carbonate hardness (10°dH). Actual capacity varies with local water hardness, bypass setting and application.
Follow the manufacturer’s installation guidance and check all connections before leaving the installation.
