The BRITA PURITY C Quell ST C150 is positioned between the compact C50 and the larger C300. It is suitable for single professional coffee machines, office coffee points, hot-drinks vending equipment and lower-demand catering ovens where additional capacity is required without a wider installation footprint.
At 10°dH carbonate hardness, the C150 is rated for 2,086 litres with a 30% fixed-bypass head. With a 0-70% variable head, capacity is 2,408 litres at 40% bypass for coffee, espresso or vending, or 1,656 litres at 10% bypass for combi and conventional ovens. Capacity varies with water hardness, bypass setting, machine and usage.
The complete system measures 117 x 104 x 419 mm and has a nominal flow of 60 L/h. At the same 30% bypass reference point, the C150 provides approximately two and a half times the rated capacity of the C50.
Pre-filtration retains coarse particles before the ion-exchange media reduces carbonate hardness. Activated carbon then treats all water, including bypass water, to reduce chlorine residues and other substances that affect taste or aroma. A final fleece retains remaining fine particles. The media also retains metal ions such as lead or copper.
What is included: one BRITA PURITY C Quell ST C150 replacement cartridge, MPN 102828. A compatible PURITY C filter head is required and is not included. Replace the cartridge at its calculated capacity or no later than 12 months after commissioning.
